Mario Mrakovic - Founder of San Diego Futsal, 1995

Coach Mario has been developing top speed soccer players for over 25 years in San Diego and Southern California. Coach Mario combines his love of soccer, coaching prowess, and deep experience to provide aspiring soccer and Futsal players with the best soccer skills training. 

Families come from all over San Diego county to attend Coach Mario’s San Diego Futsal and Surf Soccer clinics and camps, which are proven to build players’ skills,  creativity, decision making processes, and strength.

Coach Mario is the head coach for San Diego Surf Soccer Academy Boys U8, U7, U6, as well as Girls U8, U7. As well, Coach Mario is the Director of Surf Soccer's development programs for the youngest soccer players, including the Surf Soccer Jr. Academy Recreation League for boys and girls, ages 4 to 10.

• Oversee and manage all operational aspects of the San Diego (SD) Futsal and Mrakovic Method Training System (MMTS), ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations
• Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to enhance the overall performance and success of soccer developments 
• Collaborate with the club's executive team to establish and achieve short and long-term goals
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors (Nike) and other clubs and Teams
• Manage and oversee financial management
• Manage player recruitment by working closely with the owner and coaching staff
